Jacob's F1 Party

I mentioned in my first post that my son Jacob is turning one this month. So I'm actually pretty busy preparing for his big day. If you will ask me, I'd really like an intimate celebration with our family and his Ninong's and Ninang's. After all, he might not even remember what happened on his 1st birthday. But you know when Grandparents enter the picture and demands you to give their apo the best birthday ever and you reason out it's out of budget and they rebut with offering to pay half of it? That's where you oblige. Haha.

Well, it's really an expensive party, but with all the monetary contributions of Lolo's and Lola's and Ninong's and Ninang's; here I am doing final touches for my first born's (no second yet) F1 Party.

Theme: Since 1 year old's don't really have a specific favorite cartoon character yet, my other half and I decided to make it F1. Why? I don't know. Maybe because it's manly? Haha.

Birthday Costume: We bought him a jumpsuit! :) Look!

Giveaways and Prizes: I braved 168 Mall in Divisoria to get a good deal! I spent around 5,000 for assorted items. Around 250 items; Notebooks, Coloring Books, Crayons, Pens, Puzzles, Giveaway Bags, Lunch Box, Kiddie Wallets, Small towels, Water Bottles and more! :)

Invitations: I designed it myself in Adobe Photoshop and had it printed at Kodak. It's 7.oo/pc at 4R size. Envelopes, I bought in National. So I spent around Php 500.oo for the invites. Cheap, eh?

So there! :)

I hope you find something that might help you prepare your future parties! :)
