Breakfast Food

Oh, breakfast food. Something you look forward to the night before and first thing that's on your mind when you wake up every morning. As for me, I can eat breakfast food anytime of the day. They're just something that you will not get tired of eating. The smell of fried rice is enough for your tummy to go wild. Here's my top 4 breakfast food:

SPAMSILOG

BACON AND FRIED RICE

TOSILOG

RODIC'S TAPA (UP DILIMAN)
Recently, I saw this along Katipunan Extension beside Cakes to Go.

Breakfast Store, Katipunan Extension

I thought it's a restaurant that serves breakfast food all day. Apparently, they sell frozen breakfast food. Like: Chicken Tocino, Longganisa, Sausages etc. They also sell Kape Barako, Fruit Jams, Milk and Bottled Juices. :) I bought Frozen Chicken Tocino. I hope it's worth it. :)

Jacob's F1 Party

I mentioned in my first post that my son Jacob is turning one this month. So I'm actually pretty busy preparing for his big day. If you will ask me, I'd really like an intimate celebration with our family and his Ninong's and Ninang's. After all, he might not even remember what happened on his 1st birthday. But you know when Grandparents enter the picture and demands you to give their apo the best birthday ever and you reason out it's out of budget and they rebut with offering to pay half of it? That's where you oblige. Haha.

Well, it's really an expensive party, but with all the monetary contributions of Lolo's and Lola's and Ninong's and Ninang's; here I am doing final touches for my first born's (no second yet) F1 Party.

Theme: Since 1 year old's don't really have a specific favorite cartoon character yet, my other half and I decided to make it F1. Why? I don't know. Maybe because it's manly? Haha.

Birthday Costume: We bought him a jumpsuit! :) Look!

Jumpsuit from: bumblebee.ph

Birthday Cake: I found this inspiration from the internet and have it copied by Sweet Surrender.

Balloons and Other Decors: I'm lucky to have met Olive of Let's Party, she made all the preparation as easy as a stroll in the park.

Magician: Ala Kim. Need I say more? (Contact Olive of Let's Party if you want to book him!)

My Costume: I'm actually eyeing on this one.

Ofcourse, I'm kidding :)

Photobooth: Ritrato Manila. Quality Photos at Affordable Price! :)

Giveaways and Prizes: I braved 168 Mall in Divisoria to get a good deal! I spent around 5,000 for assorted items. Around 250 items; Notebooks, Coloring Books, Crayons, Pens, Puzzles, Giveaway Bags, Lunch Box, Kiddie Wallets, Small towels, Water Bottles and more! :)

Invitations: I designed it myself in Adobe Photoshop and had it printed at Kodak. It's 7.oo/pc at 4R size. Envelopes, I bought in National. So I spent around Php 500.oo for the invites. Cheap, eh?

So there! :)

I hope you find something that might help you prepare your future parties! :)

Nai Cha

It simply means "Tea with Milk". It was last year that the Milk Tea craze invaded the Metro and Milk Tea establishments are everywhere.
Funny how these entrepreneurs come up with their business names:

There's

Famous ones:

Serenitea
Moon Leaf
Gong Cha
Happy Lemon
Cha Time

Up and coming: (Names really amuses me)

Cha Dao
Infinitea
Serendipitea
Sharetea
Bon Appetea
Tea-ology

List goes on.

Well, I'm a fan of Milk Tea so I would've probably tried them all. But personally, I prefer Nai Cha best. It sits at Petron, Katipunan near LGV. No screaming banners. No lighted signs. Just a simple stall with printed out in a bond paper menu. When I tried it, it was superb. It was TEA with milk. Not MILK with a dash of TEA. If you're planning to try it out, my favorite is Wintermelon Nai Cha with Coffee Jelly! :)

Desu Shoes

Being a shoe addict myself, I still go for comfort over style. Lucky for me, DESU has both. A fashion stylist said that your shoes can make or break your outfit: with Desu, you can strut yourself anywhere with a shorts and a blouse and still look stylish. I love the comfy soles, choice of colors and their designs. They may be pricey compared to others but aside from the fact that they're made from real leather, we are all guilty of paying more just for added comfort, right? Here are some of my shoes from Desu. :)

However, it's sad that late last year, they decided to close down. They still have stocks for sale, though. To view other designs, you can look for them in Facebook or if you're interested, you can leave a comment here. :)

Oh, and may I add. Here's my bridal shoes from Desu as well. Gorgeous, eh?

XOXO,

Jezzie

I love Home Service Spa! Who doesn't? Getting all your favorite treatment in the comforts of your home. I've tried them all: Chic Nails, Pamper me Pink Etc. Etc. (Sorry for the name dropping. Nothing derogatory) But the one that stands out the most for me in terms of quality service is Celebrity Nails. celebritynails.net

Pros:

1. They arrive on time.
2. They have friendly technicians.
3. They're super complete! They even bring comfy chairs!
4. Or maybe it's just a matter of preference. I like them – period.

Here's a list of their services if you want an immediate reference. I am not sure though if the prices are updated so just double check with them.

Satchel Crazy

"The word in bag's today is Satchels." I couldn’t agree more. Well, who doesn’t love it? It's roomy and stylish and it comes in every color!

You know the saying "when the shoe fits, buy them in every color"? Yup, it applies to this particular bag too. Come on, even I will admit that I was Satchel crazy for a while. I love how the vintage-y style of this bag makes you look like effortlessly fashionista.

I really don’t spend for bags. I don’t even buy Longchamps. So when I found out that these beautiful Cambridge Satchel costs an arm and a leg, which is about Php 5,000 – 7,000. I thought all my hopes of having one are gone. Sure, I can afford them. But if I want it in every color, that's where the problem begins. Hahaha. What a hoarder.

Anyhoo, it was lucky for me that I came across parisdreams.multiply.com, they have like the best replica of these satchels at around Php 1,400 – 1,700 only depending on the size. See? It's  like 20% of those Cambridge. After all, I'm not a maniac for originals. So I ended my satchel obsession and bought myself 2 bags. One black and other one, Peach. I'm still planning to get green, yellow, red and purple. Haha. :)
